What's the plan for the day? 

 

Once all our beloved guests have arrived and are seated, we'll say "I do!" and officially kick off the celebrations!

 

Shortly after the ceremony, get ready to mingle and enjoy our cocktail hour with delicious nibbles. At 7:00 PM, we'll invite all guests to be seated for a delightful four-course meal.

 

After dinner, Its time for the party! 'We can’t wait to share this unforgettable moment and dance the night away with all of you!

 

The length of your stay is entirely up to you! Some Guests are choosing to stay entire week and others from Tuesday, June 9th, to Friday, June 12th. However long your stay suits you.

Where shall I stay?

 

Accommodation

For your stay, we highly recommend the Laguna Apartments in Vilamoura. They are conveniently located just a 6-minute drive from the vibrant Vilamoura Marina and have kindly provided a 10% discount code for our guests. 'Alysomar' you can use this to book directly though the website or for pay at property option use booking.com 

 

Please book your accommodation as soon as possible! Our wedding falls over a Portuguese bank holiday (June 10th is Portugal National Day)  so the area is expected to be very busy.

Should you prefer to stay closer to the Marina, there are plenty of lovely hotels available, and we recommend checking out options on Booking.com.

Getting Around

 

If you're considering hiring a car, we recommend using a company that allows you to collect your vehicle from Faro Airport. However, please note that Ubers are very affordable throughout Portugal, so car hire isn't essential for getting around.

 

Flights 

​

The nearest and most convenient airport for our wedding celebrations is Faro Airport (FAO).

From Faro Airport, it's approximately a 25-minute drive to Vilamoura Marina.

As mentioned Uber is very reasonably priced and very quick pick up times, we would recommend using them for airport pick up.

 

We highly recommend booking your flights as soon as possible, as we all know prices can increase closer to the date. For those flying with EasyJet, please note that flights for June 2026 are already released!

Our beautiful venue is truly bright and colourful, and we'd absolutely love for you to match its vibrant energy by wearing your best colours! 

To ensure our bridal party stands out, we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing fuchsia pink and white on the wedding day.

We also request no shorts as this is a formal event.

Gifts 

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all, especially for those who have travelled far. We are incredibly grateful. However, if you would like to give a gift, a small contribution towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

Additionally, due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate plus-one requests. Your invitation will clearly specify the names of those invited.
